Our Mandate

..... to promote, through our member agencies, a diverse range of services that support individual choices and facilitate quality lifestyles for persons with disabilities.

Our Objectives

  • to provide representation for Adult Developmental Activities, Programs and Training (ADAPT) agencies at provincial and national levels;
  • to provide a forum for the study and exchange of ideas;
  • to provide consultation for members;
  • to provide services as a resource for informing the public regarding the nature and objectives of ADAPT agencies;
  • to provide guidance in the development and establishment of training programs and resources to members;
  • to aid in development, implementation and ongoing review of provincial Adult Developmental Activities, Programs and Training standards;
  • to advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities;
  • to develop partnerships with like-minded individuals/oraganizations.
